Sizing

An Important Note About Sizing

Sizing and cut of Aloha Shirts vary wildly from manufacturer to manufacturer and decade to decade. The vintage of a shirt is often estimated by its size. Tagged sizes are essentially useless as a guideline for actual fitting. Sizes have grown... substantially... over the years. A large from the 1950's is roughly comparable to a contemporary Medium. To avoid disappointment, please refer to the measurements listed in the item description. Sorry, shipping costs are not refundable.

How We Measure

Shirts are measured laying flat. Chest measurement is taken across the front from underarm seam to underarm seam. Double this number to determine chest size. Length of the shirt is measured from the top of the collar to the bottom hem.

How You Should Measure

Grab your favorite, great-fitting shirt and using the method described above, take comparative measurements. If you're buying for someone else you'll need to get creative, do some detective work, or consider an Aloha Shirt Rescue Gift Certificate.

Payment

Pay with your Credit or Debit Card via Paypal. (Note: You do not need a Paypal account to purchase from Aloha Shirt Rescue). Please contact us if you'd like to pay by Postal Money Order or Check. Shipment of items paid by check will be delayed until the check clears.

Shipping

We ship within 48 hours of receiving payment. Most Items are shipped USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation included at no extra charge. Shipping to U.S. destinations is $6.00 no matter how many shirts you purchase.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns or exchanges (less shipping) within 14 days of purchase. Please feel free to contact us if you have a question about your Aloha Shirt purchase.

We do have pets, but we don't allow them to wear the shirts or smoke in the house. If you suffer from allergies or environmental sensitivities, collecting vintage clothing may not be appropriate for you.
